Great Idea, Laurie!

Laurie figured out something wonderful to do with the girls' artwork! She bundled up a selection for each of the sets of grandparents and the great-grandmothers. What a treat!

The latest on the cabin paint job

Blue, Blue, the Walls are Blue....

Green, Green, the Door is Green.....

Not quite done yet, but you get the general idea

My "new" organ!

Doug and Stacy surprised me in Prescott with an early birthday, Christmas, etc present! They found this Yamaha pump organ at Deseret Industries and refinished it and drove it all the way down from Boise! It was built circa 1897 and it WORKS! Thanks guys!

Debbie and Marty (the contractors) decided the beam that the inspector made them remove would make a great teeter-totter, and they even found the perfect log on the side of the road and brought it up.

Cook's Cabin Update

The painting isn't quite done, but here's sneak preview! The door and stair rail will be green, and the roof trim is yellow, hard to see in this picture. The window trim will be all red to the outside. Really looks fun!

The floor is poured so they can work on the flooring, and they are finishing the drywall and texturing this week, then getting power connected. The end is in sight!

Check out how little the tree in front of the house was when I lived there!
